Heart cut stones

A heart cut stone is one of the hardest to cut well. It needs two even lobes, a clean point and a clear cleft at the top. Moissanite takes this cut beautifully and sparkles with more fire than diamond. A heart shows best from one carat up, where the outline is easy to see.
